My style is heavily focused on real moments. I'm not going to make you do any cheesy shit that feels forced. Nothing staged, nothing set up, no awkward half-smiles.
I'm all about couples breaking traditions and doing things their way— because that’s how it really SHOULD be. I want you to be able to look back at these photos for decades and feel the love you feel for each other right now. I want them to be meaningful to you. I want them to speak your truth. Because that’s what this is REALLY all about.
Connection and trust foster all sorts of good things around here. It's cheesy and weird, but I get really invested in my couples because I really do care so so much and want to be more than just a photographer to you.
Let's focus on creating together rather than just 'getting photos done'. My main focus above all else is that my couples are having a good time. Most of my couples show up uneasy saying “Sorry, we’re awkward and hate getting our photo taken”, and by the end they’re going on about how easy and fun it was. Trust me, getting photos taken doesn’t have to suck or be awkward in any way, and I will make sure you have a damn good time.
RAW. REAL. YOU.
THAT'S WHAT SENIOR PHOTOS SHOULD BE ALL ABOUT.
Let's be honest- we love photos of ourselves where we feel like ourselves, am I right? Well that's what I want for your senior year.
I'm not your typical photographer- while I will always strive to get some "classic" poses, my heart truly lies in creating art and telling stories. Together, we'll create moments that capture who you are at your core.
The aim of lifestyle sessions is to capture you and your family in a REAL way – not just in a way where everyone is dressed nicely and smiling for the camera.
Lifestyle sessions have very minimal posing – although situations will be set up so that we can capture some of the memories you want to freeze in the time allocated for the session. For example, we may capture dressing your little one, reading your child a story, doing dishes together, making a cake together, playing a board game together – whatever is real and relevant for your family.
